Hi Everyone. Recently a lot of folks have been asking about what they need to bring to transport the “New Puppy” home in. Well, this depends on how long of a trip you have and if you have family members to help with handling the pup. Ideally you would have a small crate to put the pup in. This is where he will be safe and secure in case of an accident. However, this will be all new to puppy too and this whole experience is new. You are new to the new puppy. So, If you have a family member that wants to hold the puppy to reassure them and make them feel more secure that will be wonderful ! Also, like children, cars will make most pups go to sleep so the crate will also help as a bed for the new puppy. Remember, you cannot stop at any rest areas or pet walks as you will want to keep your puppy away from where other dogs have been!
