Ashland's "Have Mercy" - Mercy's Pilot TV Program... Outdoors' with Boomer and Bud ("Boomer" GPTV's Emmy Award winning Steve Sutton) "Mercy" is the Co-Star "Bud"

    We are very excited about our newest star "Mercy" and would like to share the good news with you! In June 2001, Mercy and I (Ashley) went to Palm Bay Florida to a well known spot called the Stick Marsh, to file a pilot TV program The Outdoor Channel requested called...Outdoors with Boomer and Bud. We watched the Stick Marsh filming the show for several days with the crew. Mercy will be the Co-Star "Bud" on the show and will have captions coming out of her mouth talking to Boomer ( Steve Sutton) fishing during the show. Mercy and Boomer became best buddies on the show and in real life - Great Chemistry!!! George and Scott Welcome of Imagination Bassin ( website )  were Boomer and Bud's Guide on the Stick Marsh sharing information on the marsh, its' organization, landscape, wildlife, the fish and regulations.

    We shot the show with the Director/Producer Bob Lanning. Mr. Lanning has been in the business for 30+ years producing shows as impressive as the Good Will Olympic Games. He was a pleasure to work with - a true professional. Also working on the project were 2 camera men, Bob Wheeler (President of R.Wheeler Productions) and Klay Shorthouse whose experience includes filming "Fishing with Roland Martin". We were very impressed with the wealth of knowledge the entire crew brought to the production. Mercy certainly provided to be a star during the filming on the pilot. High hopes for a new TV show next year! Watch for details on when the show will air!
